The program was enhanced to include additional partners, roles, and responsibilities upon the signing of EPAHP Convergence MOU on December 09, 2019 at Malacañang Palace, Manila.
The first year anniversary of EPAHP marks the ceremonial signing of the EPAHP Joint Memorandum Circular, as well as the alliance with new partners, namely: DBP and DICT. Capping the event is the Pledge of Support by all EPAHP partners to improve the lives of the Filipino people as one of the banner programs of the Inter-Agency Task Force on Zero Hunger, which intends to end hunger, achieve foods security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture in the Philippines.
NIA remains committed in delivering efficient, reliable, and sustainable irrigation service to the Filipino farmers as the Agency’s vital contribution in increasing rice production and to the growth of the country’s agricultural sector in general.
