Duties & Responsibilities:
- Review and evaluate overall estimates for the determination of the total cost of NIA line projects submitted by Regional Irrigation Offices/Project Management Offices for approval by concerned authorities;
- Review and evaluate calendar year Program of Works of NIA line projects submitted by Regional Irrigation Offices/ Project Management Offices for approval by concerned authorities;
- Evaluate and process Sub-Allotment Advice (SAA) and Notice of Cash Allotment (NCA) for approval by concerned authorities;
- Review unit cost derivation of locally funded and foreign-assisted projects submitted by Regional Irrigation/Project Management Offices;
- Review the Approved Budget for the Contract for civil works above Php 50 million for locally funded and foreign-assisted projects;
- Prepare Budget Preparation (BP) Forms as well as Physical and Financial Plans for foreign- assisted and locally funded projects and the data/documents required by other agencies and relative to the above functions;
- Conduct field inspection of ongoing projects to verify the accuracy of the proposed Program of Work and the various project requests for approval;
- Facilitate response to incoming communication/letters, etc. as well as prepare letters/facsimiles required in undertaking the above functions; and
- Perform other related functions
